ECHO

It does not take the object. It takes the echo.

Released Minecraft 1.21.1 NeoForge Found, never crafted
A player holds the empty ECHO Relic in ruined stone at dusk, with a pulse of captured enchantment light.

Why it exists

ECHO is one found Relic. You do not craft it. You find it empty. It does not pulse until you Infondi it. Infuse is one-way. You can skip a step by paying more. Never back.

What it does

Use it in your hand to send a pulse. Every enchantment in range becomes one imprint. The item stays; the magic does not. Sneak and use to open the relic: Infondi under the title, imprints below, your inventory on the right. Dissipa drops an imprint (two clicks: arm, then confirm). Materializza writes the selected imprint onto a book. The imprint stays.

Infondi

1 silver block → ECHO (Argento): 8 slots, radius 4, 1 XP, items on the ground. 2 gold blocks → ECHO (Oro): 16 / 6 / 2 XP, ground only. 3 diamond blocks → ECHO (Diamante): 32 / 8 / 3 XP, including chests, barrels and placed shulkers. From empty you may go straight to Oro or Diamante. Silver → Gold → Diamond only.

The pulse is all-or-nothing

If the relic cannot hold every imprint, or you cannot pay the XP, nothing is taken. Curses are captured. An emptied enchanted book becomes a book. Imprints already inside survive an upgrade: capacity only grows. Creative skips the XP pulse; materials for books are still paid.

Materializza

Empty book plus reagents: I lapis, II two lapis, III emerald, IV two emeralds, V+ diamond. Treasure always adds an extra emerald and diamond. A full inventory cancels the print. The imprint is not spent.

How it fits

No recipe. The same empty ECHO drops, rarely, in dungeons, mineshafts, desert pyramids, woodland mansions, nether fortresses, ancient cities and End cities. Gold never opens a chest. Diamond does, on the server, without a client-side open. It will not touch another player’s inventory, and it will not crawl into a backpack sitting inside a chest. Enchantment Workbench can read a relic if both mods are installed. ECHO never depends on the bench.
