Twenty-seven transient slots. Closing destroys the stack. If something actually burned, you hear a hiss. Easy to throw away the wrong stack. That is the job.

Void
Put it in. Close. It is gone.
Why it exists
This is not a chest. It does not keep anything. Place two next to each other and you still have two blocks — they never become a double chest. Drop junk in. Close. Whatever sat in those twenty-seven slots is destroyed.
What it does
Craft a Void, put one down, open it. The screen is the small-chest layout: twenty-seven slots and your inventory. Closing the screen is the confirm. Items do not bounce back into your inventory. They do not spill on the floor. They are not written into the block. Open it again: empty. Break it: the Void item comes back; the contents never existed.
No storage. Never a double chest. Two people can use the same block at once and each still starts from empty, because there is no shared inventory to share.
Hoppers, droppers, and pipes have nowhere to insert. There is no filter, no “keep the diamonds”, no upgrade slot.
A 1×1 chest-shaped cube in the world. Vanilla single-chest GUI. No lid animation. Mine it with an iron pickaxe or better — as hard as an ender chest.
How it fits
Lava still exists if you want fire; this one just eats the stack when you close. No chest loot. Creative inventory has it for testing. Standalone — no other mod required.
